Self Introductory Speech
My name is Juis but I am not a Jew even though most of my friends call me Jewish. This name was given by my father when I was born in 1954. I was born in a pagan family but soon after, my father brought us to adapt Christian. Upon baptism I was named Fabian George by Fr. Luis Schwabl, a German priest who served in St. Stephen Parish Council Bau at that time. So, I choose to be called George because it is the mid name.
My Christian denomination is Roman Catholic but I had been to many churches no matter what denominations because I treat myself as a Christian for whatever denominations in order to seek the truth and to work on my self projection on Bible study. Please do not get offended to know this for God gives us the freedom to choose and seek the truth. I am not losing my faith nor changing my faith but I am perfecting my faith.
I am a family man with four children. Being brought up by a poor family I do not have any academic credentials so I have been working with many employers both public and private sectors to earn my living started with the underground level. I first worked with Holiday Inn Hotel from April 1976 to March 1979 then moved to Telecoms. Department until December 1986 that the Department was privatised and become Telekom Malaysia. I took an early retirement (VSS) in December 2006. I am now doing my own work as a villager.
From my life experiences I realized that problem is the experience of life. The more problems we faced and if we could get through them it reflects that we have vast experiences. Do not feel bad if we realised that we had done wrong in the past and worry not for it but to start to do the right thing. For no one can go back to the past and make good of what was wrong but anyone can start now to make a brand new ending. The life we live will never change unless we live the life to change. Remember people do not plan to fail but they fail to plan. Please bear in mind that what we conceive can be achieved if we believe.
The key to our success is "Change". Change the way we think, Change means doing the things that we have not been doing up to now, Change means discomfort and Change take a little time. Take a bold step and do something for ourselves as well as for our families. We have the biggest power in the world. "The Power to Choose!" When we continue to do what we have been doing, we will continue to get what we have been getting. If we want to get an extraordinary result we have to do things in an extraordinary way.
Dreams and desires are wishful thinking and unless they are planted in the sub-conscious mind, they will not become burning desires. Now we can understand why the many people in the masses remain in the masses for a long, long time. The question is, "Can we do something about it?" Please take time to ponder on this.
