Bleak Scenarios

A recent Fox News article proposes several scenarios for a type of 2012 End of the World final conflagration. According to the article, “Welcome to the Apocalypse,” the end of the world will be painful, ugly and bleak for those on Earth in most of the depictions. For example, one scientist speculates “that the seas could turn to sulfur and decrease the overall levels of oxygen, poisoning us all.”

Apocalypse 2012 or Revelation

When people search the Internet for such terms as “Apocalypse,” “Apocalypse 2012,” “Revelations,” or “Book of Revelations,” what they probably have in mind is a more scriptural or Biblical result than the scientists’ forecasts. To be more precise, the word “Apocalypse” actually means “lifting of the veil” or “revelation.” Many commonly use the term “Apocalypse” in the context of the end of the world. This common usage could be a result of the historical use of the title “Apocalypse of John” for the last book of the New Testament, the Book of Revelation, which does indeed depict the destruction of the last human governments on earth.

Understanding “The Apocalypse of John”

The Book of Revelation or “The Apocalypse of John” is full of visions and symbols that seem too daunting for many to even attempt to understand. In reality, Revelation is far less figurative and far more applicable and practical to us than many believe it to be.

The Book of Revelation is divided into three parts:

1) “the things which thou hast seen” – events of chapter 1.

2) “the things which are” – the seven churches that existed at that time and to which John wrote in chapters 2 & 3.

3) “the things which shall be hereafter” – events from chapter 4 until the end of chapter 22.

The Book of Revelation is in order, but is not in chronological order:

From chapter 4 to chapter 22, the Book of Revelation loops back to a previous point in time (not all the way to the beginning nor to the beginning of the previous loop) and begins to re-tell a story with more details provided on each re-telling. The Seven Seals tell the long story (from just after Jesus’ time on earth), and ends at Armageddon. (Revelation 6) The Seven Trumpets tell the shorter story (from WWI), and end at the battle of Armageddon. (Revelation 11) The Seven Vials tell the really short story, beginning at or just prior to the battle of Armageddon, and end at the end of the battle of Armageddon (Rev 16) If you study the Sixth Seal, the Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Vial side-by-side, you will see that these are all describing exactly the same event, the Day of the Lord or the Day of Christ.

The Seals, the Trumpets, the Thunders, the Vials

The Seven Seals:

The first four seals are four horses. We see the same four horses in Zechariah chapter 6 where we are given additional information about each. We are told that these are four “spirits” (Zechariah 6:5)

1) The White Horse – the “Spirit” of Catholicism. The Pope has white robes, white car, white pope mobile, white helicopter, and white airplane.

2) The Red Horse – the “Spirit” of Communism. The officially recognized color of Communism is red; Red Russia, Red China. The rider of this horse has a great sword. Russia and China are mighty military powers.

3) The Black Horse – the “Spirit” of Capitalism. The officially recognized color of Capitalism is black. The black horse goes into the North Country (Zech 6:6). Almost all capitalist countries are in the northern hemisphere.

4) The Pale (chloros or green) Horse – the “Spirit” of Islam. Death and Hell followed. The official color of Islam is green. The Pale horse is given power over 1/4 of the earth. 1.5 billion people are Muslim – 1/4 of earth. Muslim people dress in green clothing and scarves, use green flags, etc. Islam clearly promotes a culture of death.

5) The Souls under the Altar begins the great tribulation spoken of by Jesus in Matt 24. Perfect sequencing with the fourth seal – the rise of Islam, beheadings and the culture of death.

6) The Day of the Lord

7) Armageddon. Concurrent with the 7th Trumpet and 7th Vial. Silence in Heaven

The Seven Trumpets:

The First Trumpet – World War I

No previous wars with even 1 million deaths. The first war with airplanes; hence hail and fire mingled with blood as bombs fell. The first time official “scorched earth policy” was employed – burned all green grass as armies retreated.

The Second Trumpet – World War II

WWII had 52 million deaths. Approximately 105,000 ships participated in WWII; approximately 36,000 of them were sunk – one third (just as prophesied)The first employment of a nuclear bomb would look exactly like a mountain burning with fire.

The Third Trumpet – The Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster on April 1986

The Ukrainian word “Chernobyl” means “wormwood”.

The Fourth Trumpet – Shortening of the Days

Jesus spoke of the shortening of the days in Matt 24:22

The Fifth Trumpet – The Gulf War

1991 – The First Woe

The Sixth Trumpet – World War III

The Second Woe

The Seventh Trumpet – Armageddon

The Third Woe. The same as Sixth Seal and Seventh Vial. This Seventh Trumpet is the “last trump” (I Cor 15:52) – the gathering of the saints.

The Seven Thunders

We don’t know. God told John not to write these things.

The Seven Vials

Vial # 1 – A noisesome and grievous sore.

Vial # 2 – The sea becomes blood.

Vial # 3 – Rivers and fountains become blood.

Vial # 4 – The sun scorches men.

Vial # 5 – Darkness and pain.

Vial # 6 – Euphrates river dried up to make way for kings of the East to invade Israel.

Vial # 7 – The Day of the Lord. Same as the Sixth Seal and Seventh Trumpet. The end of man’s government on earth and beginning of the government of Jesus on earth.

Two other significant events in Revelation are the Mark of the Beast and the Rapture.

“Radio-Frequency Identification transponders,” and subdermal implants may soon be used to implement a national ID in America, the forerunner of the Mark of the Beast of Revelation 13:16, without which, no one will be able to buy or sell: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads…”

Rapture

Our gathering together to meet the Lord in the air, commonly called the Rapture, is pictured in 1 Thessalonians 4:17: “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Revelation 3:10 indicates that, as believers patiently endure tribulation, they will be kept from temptation: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

Where is the United States in Bible prophecy?

Many people have claimed that the United States is not mentioned in the prophecies of the Bible. Actually the US was plainly foretold in the Holy Scriptures, 2,300 years before the Declaration of Independence. The US and modern nations are clearly mentioned in Bible prophecies that are being fulfilled right before our eyes. God in his foreknowledge and wisdom saw the nations that would exist at the time of His return. In His love, He gave Daniel a vision so that we might have understanding in these last days and prepare ourselves for His soon return!,

The End Time Nations

The Bible prophesies in many places that, immediately before the kingdom of God is established, a world government will rule the earth for a very short period of time. In these prophecies we are given a very detailed description of the last world power that shall reign over the peoples of the earth immediately before the return of Jesus Christ. The beasts of Daniel’s vision, found in Daniel chapter 7, bear an uncanny resemblance to nations in our modern world, including the United States. The beasts represent nations that will be in existence on earth when Jesus comes to establish His kingdom. If we can prove that these nations exist right now, then we can know that we live in the era of Jesus’ promised second coming!

Modern Nations Represented in the Bible

We can identify the kingdom of the ten horns that will be the last kingdom upon the face of the earth prior to the establishment of the Kingdom of God by Jesus Christ. We can identify the modern nations represented by the lion, the bear, the eagle, and the leopard in Daniel chapter 7. The symbols used to depict modern nations in Daniel 7 are used one other time in scripture. But they are used in a different way.

In Daniel 7, the four beasts depict four individual nations. In Revelation 13, the Apostle John saw a vision of one beast instead of four. The one beast was described as having the body of the leopard, the feet of the bear, the mouth of the lion, and the ten horns of the ten-horned beast. This conglomerate beast of Revelation 13 is depicting the endtime world government of the Antichrist. All of the beasts in Daniel 7 have now merged into this one unified beast…except for one. The eagle’s wings are not mentioned in the description of the world government beast!

United States Discovered in the Bible

Depicts three possible explanations that are given forthe absence of the symbol of the United States from the final world government beast. Could it be that the United States will be one of the dissenting forces against the Antichrist and his world government, a harbor of safety during the troubled times ahead?

WORLD GOVERNMENT FORMING NOW

The New World Order (NWO)

The prophesied one-world government is being formed on earth at this very time. The Bible prophesies that the Antichrist will ultimately reign over this world government for three-and-one-half years just prior to the second coming of Jesus to establish His own world government.

Satanically Empowered Control

Control of the coming end time government will be consolidated into the totalitarian hands of the Antichrist. The dragon, which is the devil, gives this world governmental system its seat, power, and great authority (Revelation 13:2). We will all feel the oppression of this world government structure because it is satanically inspired, and it is forming right now.

Revelation 13:7 states that power will be given to the Antichrist over “all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Verse 3 says, “And all the world wondered after the beast.” Daniel 7:23 tells of a world governmental system ruled by the Antichrist, “The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.” The prophecy then states that this world government will rule the world until the second coming.

The New World Order Prophecy

After World War II, The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was formed as a hedge against the advance of communistic Warsaw powers led by the USSR. When Mikhail Gorbachev became the leader of the Soviet Union, he allowed the fall of the Berlin Wall, and ultimately, of the Iron Curtain. World leaders declared that the Cold War was over, and they proclaimed the birth of a New World Order.

When Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, President Bush Sr. put together a UN coalition of 29 nations to fight against Saddam. It was at this time that Bush Sr. made his famous statement that we really do have a chance at the birth of a “New World Order.” This is how he described the Gulf War: “This is not the people of Iraq against the United States. This is Saddam against the world.”

Globalization

After the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, we began hearing new terms like World Community and International Community. David Rockefeller said that a global crisis would have to occur before the world would be willing to accept a New World Order. When the world’s economy began a dramatic downward plunge in 2008, world leaders again proclaimed the need for a New World Order with global economic structures.

The word “globalization” means exactly what it says. It is the process of transitioning the world into a global government. When we hear about international law, it is referring to the laws of the international government. When we hear about the World Court, it is referring to the court system that has been created to enforce the laws of the world governmental system. World Government Forming Now describes the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization—all of these powerful world institutions are exactly what they say they are. They are all components of the one-world government—the world government prophesied for the endtime 2,000 years ago.
